<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system, a base station device, a relay station device and a communication method capable of efficiently avoiding interference when a relay station device is installed in an area providing an MBMS service. <P>SOLUTION: This communication system includes a base station device and a relay station device. The base station device notifies the relay station device of an MBSFN area identifier and whether a sub-frame used by service of the MBSFN area identifier is set in an MBSFN sub-frame or not. Based on the MBSFN area identifier held by its own station and information about the sub-frame used by the service of the MBSFN area identifier, the relay station device controls whether the sub-frame used by the service of the MBSFN area identifier notified by the base station device is included in its own MBSFN sub-frame or not, based on the notification whether the sub-frame used by the service of the MBSFN area identifier is set in the MBSFN sub-frame or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
