<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb structure which prevents honeycomb segments from falling out therefrom even when damaged. <P>SOLUTION: The honeycomb structure 1 comprises honeycomb segments 2 and spacers 3 interposed between two facing honeycomb segments 2.
