<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-bonded grinding wheel having an increased grinding ratio while maintaining the generation of a chip pocket. <P>SOLUTION: The metal-bonded grinding wheel comprises abrasive grains as grinding materials, and cobalt and fluorphlogopite for improving the performance of the grinding wheel and a binder where a value obtained by dividing the volume percentage of fluorphlogopite by the volume percentage of cobalt is 0.14 to 0.23. When (fluorphlogopite/cobalt) is 0.14 to 0.23, predetermined grinding performance and a predetermined grinding ratio are obtained, and the life of the grinding wheel is extended and a grinding process is shortened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
