<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the unevenness of density without recreating correction data. <P>SOLUTION: This printer comprises: a head which has a nozzle row in which a plurality of nozzles for ejecting inks curable by the irradiation of light are aligned in a prescribed direction, and forms dot lines in which a plurality of dots are aligned in a cross direction in the prescribed direction by ejecting the inks from the nozzle rows to a medium which relatively moves in a cross direction crossing the prescribed direction; a light source which irradiates, with light, dots formed at the medium by the head; an adjusting part which adjusts a distance between the head and the light source; a detection part which detects dot widths of the dot lines in the prescribed direction; correction data in which a density correction value at each dot line is defined; and a storage part which stores the dot width of a certain dot in the prescribed direction when the correction data are created. The distance between the head and the light source is adjusted so that the dot widths which are detected by the detection part become the dot widths which are stored in the storage part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
