摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel connection structure and a tunnel construction method, capable of sufficiently suppressing subsidence of upper ground and reducing a construction cost. <P>SOLUTION: Since ground subsidence is greatly affected by a lining form constituting a upper half-side cross-section of a tunnel, a solid structure such as a reinforced concrete, steel or composite structure is employed as upper connection lining, so as to suppress the ground subsidence by suppressing displacement of tunnel lining. On a lower half side hardly affecting the upper ground subsidence, horseshoe-shaped lining having not a constant curvature but a rise different from that of an upper half side is constructed.
