A centrifuge drive, which is directly connected with the shaft of the centrifuge basket and permits automatic regulation of the speed from a minimum to a maximum value and vice versa, consists of a differential gear with a continuously rotating torque generator (electromotor) and a two-part speed regulating device having a braking or accumulative effect. One part of the speed regulating device is connected with one driven shaft of the differential gear, and the other part is connected with the other driven shaft and also with the centrifuge basket. The required braking moments are controlled via a speed-dependent feeler. |
