<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a situation where hot water is supplied without properly cleaning the drain water discharged through a reheating circulation passage and thus, the drain water is mixed into the hot water in a bathtub. <P>SOLUTION: The reheating circulation passage connected to a bathtub is connected to a hot water delivery side of a hot water supply side circuit via a connection passage. The bath water heater has: a drainage function for discharging drain water generated in a latent heat recovery hot water supply heat exchanger to the bathroom through the reheating circulation passage; and a drain cleaning function for supplying water from the hot water supply side circuit to the reheating circulation passage after discharging the drain water to clean a flowing passage of the drain. A drain water cleaning control means 41 performs an operation of the drain cleaning function every time at least one of a hot water circulating operation for circulating the hot water in the bathtub through the reheating circulation passage and a water filling operation for filling the bathtub with hot water through the reheating circulation passage is performed, after a power source 43 of the bath water heater is turned on or after an error signal output during stop due to a failure of the drainage function or the drain cleaning function is released. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
