<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment method of an aluminum material in which uneven patterns are formed and decorative surface superior in design characteristic is provided, and to provide an aluminum material which is light in weight and is manufactured even for a long object without causing peeling or dropping of the decorative surface by using the surface treatment method. <P>SOLUTION: In the surface treatment method of an aluminum material, after the surface of an aluminum material is coated with anodic oxidation or chemical conversion treatment, primer coating is applied by using a paint containing an epoxy resin as necessary. Then, a paint composition containing a coloring agent, particular aggregate with a diameter of 0.1-5 mm or pellet aggregate with a diameter of 0.1-1 mm and a length of 1-5 mm, and a fluorine-based resin is used to apply middle painting for forming uneven patterns. Furthermore, a paint containing a fluorine-based resin is used to apply clear coating on the middle painting surface.
