摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platform cooling apparatus in a turbine rotor blade having a platform that includes an internal cooling passage formed therein. <P>SOLUTION: The platform cooling apparatus includes: a main plenum residing just inboard of the planar topside 113 and extending from the aft position to the forward position within one of the positive pressure side and the negative pressure side of the platform 110, the main plenum having a longitudinal axis approximately parallel to the planar topside 113; a supply plenum that extends between the main plenum and the internal cooling passage; and a plurality of cooling apertures, each cooling aperture extending from one of the positive pressure side and the negative pressure side slash face to a connection part with the main plenum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
