<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection apparatus which effectively prevents a voltage drop of self-power and the configuration of which is more simplified and the design is more facilitated. <P>SOLUTION: A HUB unit 103 for an electric apparatus is connected to a serial interface 303 corresponding to bus power for power supply included in the electric apparatus via a first power path and supplies power to a HUB circuit 301 that mediates data communication. A second power path of the HUB unit 103 for an electric apparatus is detachably connected to a power supply section 201 included in the electric apparatus and directly supplies power to an external device detachably connected to a plurality of serial interfaces 104 and 105 corresponding to bus power for power supply. A voltage drop caused by current consumption of the HUB circuit is reduced from the second power path, thereby capable of supplying stable power to the external device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
