<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress bacterial growth in alkaline water and acidic water having relatively high temperatures. <P>SOLUTION: This hot water supply system (10) includes: a hot water supply circuit (12) for supplying hot water to use targets (U1, U2) provided in a bathroom; and an ion water supply part (60) supplying at least either of alkaline water or acidic water to the hot water supply circuit (12). The ion water supply part (60) includes: a water storage tank (61); an electrode unit (62) having a pair of electrodes (64, 65) forming an electric current path for generating an electrolysis in water in the water storage tank (61), and a DC power source (70) applying DC voltages to the pair of electrodes (64, 65); and an ion water passage (63) connecting the inside of the water storage tank (61) to the hot water supply circuit (12).
