<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic encoder device capable of improving the detection accuracy of a rotation state of a rotor. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical magnetic body 101 is formed in a cylindrical shape with a thin wall. An outer peripheral surface 105 of the cylindrical magnetic body 101 forms a cylindrical surface about a center axis C. An inner peripheral surface 106 of the cylindrical magnetic body 101 forms a shape which matches with an outline shape of an installing part 2A of a motor rotation shaft 2, namely a regular quadrangular cylindrical surface about the center axis C. Each border part B between magnetic pole portions 107 and 108 which are adjacent to each other is positioned at a part corresponding to a corner portion of the inner peripheral surface 106 made from the regular quadrangular cylindrical surface of the cylindrical magnetic body 101. A Hall element 103 is oppositely disposed on an outer peripheral surface (the outer peripheral surface 105 of the cylindrical magnetic body 101) of a magnetic encoder 102 while keeping a minute clearance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
