<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle capable of securing security, by using an on-vehicle display means in common, when managing a vehicle by failure diagnosis or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This display device for the vehicle includes a display means 3 for displaying an image, and a control means 2 for displaying vehicle information based on information from an on-vehicle external apparatus on the display means 3 by inputting the information.
