<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static eliminator capable of controlling frequency of voltage applied on electrode means and voltages of positive polarity and negative polarity individually in a simple circuit structure. <P>SOLUTION: A positive polarity high voltage generating circuit 4 and a negative polarity high voltage generating circuit 5 comprise voltage doubler rectifier circuits 4b and 5b, respectively. An electrode needle 9 is connected so as to be supplied with one of the positive polarity and negative polarity high voltages from the corresponding one of the high voltage generating circuits 4 and 5, and to output positive polarity ions and negative polarity ions in a time-division form. An AC pulse is supplied for causing switches 2a and 2b to open and close so as to consecutively change one condition to the other condition out of two conditions of supplying the positive polarity high voltage to the electrode needle 9; and supplying the negative polarity high voltage to the same. The Duty ratio of the voltage to be supplied to the electrode needle 9 is changed by adjusting the opening/closing time of the switches 2a and 2b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
