In a method for producing an aerosol spray composition containing phosphatides, the phosphatides or a substance containing them are mixed with an oil, and the mixture is dissolved in a liquefied gas suitable as a propellant by introducing the liquid gas under pressure with the exclusion of air into the mixture of phosphatide and oil. In examples lecithin is dissolved in vegetable oils or paraffin oil; the propellants are halogenated hydrocarbons. The compositions are release agents for baking tins, oven plates, ice cups and the like. |
