An operating method of a washing machine is provided to reduce the condensation time of steam and rapidly operate the wrinkle removing course by providing the steam into the drum and blowing the air into the drum simultaneously. An operating method of a washing machine is composed of a clothes providing step(S110) of putting the wrinkle removing object such as clothes into the drum; a steam and air providing step(S120) of providing hot steam into the drum by controlling a steam providing part and of providing the unheated-air into the drum by controlling an air providing part simultaneously; and a refresh step(S140) of rotating the drum and refreshing the wrinkled removing object by stopping supply of the steam and the air and controlling the driving part if the steam and air providing step is finished. The steam and air providing step is judged to be finished when the temperature in the drum reaches the pre-set temperature.
