<p>The invention discloses a method and system for judging the operation state of a broadband access device port, wherein, the method includes: a device management system determines that the currently obtained first sum of the numbers of the transmitting bytes and the receiving bytes of a broadband access device port is not equal to the recorded last time obtained second sum of the numbers of the transmitting bytes and the receiving bytes of the broadband access device port; the device management system judges that the broadband access device port is open for operation. The invention can guarantee the accuracy of the judgement on the open-for-operation of the broadband access device port made by the device management system.</p> |
