PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detection apparatus which can accurately detect radiation energy.

SOLUTION: A radiation detection apparatus 1 comprises a CdTe element 20 which detects the incidence of radiation rays 4 and outputs a radiation detection signal, a correction parameter creation part 311 which creates correction parameters based on obtained parameters for correction processing to calibrate the reduced wave height of the radiation detection signal due to recombination of carriers generated in the CdTe element 20 by the incidence of the radiation rays 4, and a correction processing part 312 which performs the correction processing based on the created correction parameters.
