The present invention pertains to construction equipment such as an excavator or a wheel loader, in particular, an emergency steering system of construction equipment, wherein it is possible to control steering in case of an emergency such as when a part of the equipment malfunctions or is inoperative. More specifically, an emergency steering system of construction equipment according to an embodiment of the present invention including: a steering actuator; an emergency hydraulic pump connected to the steering actuator via a pair of driving paths; an emergency steering section supplied with working oil that is discharged from the emergency hydraulic pump to activate a steering means; and an emergency steering controller for controlling whether to selectively operate the emergency hydraulic pump.
