<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new polycarbonate diol-containing composition etc., for obtaining a polyurethane, having low solution viscosity, excellent in flexibility and elastic recovery, and also flexibility and bending property at low temperatures, while maintaining heat resistance, weather resistance and waterproof property which are the characters of the polyurethane originated from a conventional polycarbonate diol. <P>SOLUTION: This composition containing the polycarbonate diol obtained by performing the polymerization reaction of (i) diaryl carbonate, (ii) 2,2-dialkyl-1,3-propane diol and (iii) a diol other than the 2,2-dialkyl-1,3-propane diol in the presence of a metal compound catalyst is provided by containing ≤1 wt.% total concentration of residual monomers of the (ii) and (iii) in the composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
