<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purification device of internal combustion engines which can prevent a catalyst carrier from being damaged, position its sensor accurately, and improve the measurement accuracy of the state of the catalyst carrier. <P>SOLUTION: In this exhaust gas purification device of an internal combustion engine, a resin spacer (23) made of combustible resin material and a catalyst carrier (21) are fitted into a case (20) from the upstream to the downstream to abut against the abutting part (20c) of the case (20) or the resin spacer (23), and an exhaust temperature sensor (25) is positioned by inserting the top of the exhaust temperature sensor (25) with a sensor-fixing boss (24) into a positioning hole (23d) formed in the abutting part (23c) of the resin spacer (23), and the sensor-fixing boss (24) is welded and fixed to the cone part (20b) of the case (20). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
