<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester expanded foam container having superior heat resistance, which has a structure composed of: a container principal body made of a non-foamable polyester; and a foamed layer formed on an outer surface of a trunk of the container principal body, the foamed layer being formed by forming a foamable layer impregnated with an inert gas on the outer surface of the trunk of the container principal body and then heating it. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester expanded foam container includes: the non-foamable-polyester container principal-body 1 having a mouth 5, the trunk 7 and a bottom 9; and the foamed polyester layer 3 formed on the outer surface of the trunk of the container principal body 1, the foamed polyester layer 3 containing foamed cells inside. The non-foamable-polyester container principal-body 1 is formed by using a polyester with an intrinsic viscosity of ≤0.78, and the foamed polyester layer 3 is formed by using a polyester with an intrinsic viscosity of ≥0.80. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
