<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of supplying a rectangular shape cloth member to a folding system and a system therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The method of supplying a rectangular shape cloth member to a folding system is characterized as follows. A marker 5A provided at the corner section of a cloth member 1 load-supplied on a conveyor 9 upstream the conveyor provided at the folding system is lifted with a hand 25 provided at carrying means 23 and is conveyed onto a conveyor 11 side, a position very closer to the marker 5A is clamped with one gripper 37 provided at a transfer system 29 that transfers the cloth member 1 onto the conveyor 11 and another marker 5B is also clamped with the other gripper 39 in the transfer system 29, and the clamp of the cloth member 1 is turned open with one gripper 37 moved in a direction that runs transversely above the conveyor 11, the other gripper 39 is moved above the conveyor 11, and both the grippers 37, 39 are moved in a bring-in direction of the conveyor 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
