<p>A method and system for implementing call waiting service intercepting in intelligent network are provided in the present invention. An SCP in the intelligent network sets numbers which needs to be intercepted the call waiting service; when a call of first speech channel in which the calling calls the called is initiated, conversation speech information of the first speech channel is intercepted; when a call of second speech channel in which third party calls the called is initiated, conversation speech information of the second speech channel is intercepted, and the third party is added to the ongoing first speech channel to wait for the call; when the called is switching between the first speech channel and the second speech channel, opposite end media of the called and service type of the intercepting are updated, and the speech channel switching is implemented. The present invention is based on application of wide band intelligent network system, every network element performs switching of intercepted speech channels under the control of SCP, intercepting the call waiting service can be implemented without adding other network elements, and it is of great advantage to promote complex services.</p> |
