<p>To increase the crosstalk suppression effect in a plasma display device, gradations are displayed on a plasma display panel by including, in the display combination sets which are formed by selecting multiple combinations of light-emitting subfields and non-light-emitting subfields, a first display combination set and a second display combination set for which the number of combinations of light-emitting subfields and non-light-emitting subfields is less than that of the first display combination set. When the gradation values for a discharge cell for which the width of the data electrodes is relatively large are converted to image data, the first display combination set is used, and when the gradation values for a discharge cell for which the width of the data electrodes is relatively small are converted to image data, the first display combination set or the second display combination set is used.</p> |
