PURPOSE: A random change prevention system and prevention method thereof are provided to prevent electronic payment through the payment network of other VAN(Value Added Network) company without using the payment network of a payment system provider. CONSTITUTION: A payment terminal(10) includes a private code storage unit(14), a private code reader(15), and a terminal control unit(16). The private code storage unit provides a private code which is given to a sign pad. The private code reader determines agreement between the private codes. The terminal control unit controls the normal operation and abnormal operation of the payment terminal based on a reading result recognized from the private code reader.
