PURPOSE: An electronic watt hour meter and an electronic watt hour calculation method are provided to reduce the entire size thereof and remove a phase error compensation circuit for phase compensation. CONSTITUTION: An electronic watt hour meter(10) comprises a plurality of sigma-delta modulators(11a-11i), a plurality of registers(12a-12c), a register controller(14), and a plurality of decimation filters(13a-13c). The sigma-delta modulator converts the current and the voltage flowing in a plurality of power lines. The register stores a plurality of detection currents, and the bit stream of the voltage. The register controller successively outputs bit stream of the voltage and a plurality of detection currents, and outputs the bit stream of the voltage. The decimation filter converts the plurality of detection currents and the bit stream of voltage successively outputted from the register into a digital value.
