摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve maintenance of exhaust purification efficiency in restarting an engine, in addition to suppression of vehicle speed deterioration, and improvement of fuel consumption in spite of a series driving system which does not have a differential permissible mechanism, during engine stop control. <P>SOLUTION: A driving system includes: an engine Eng; a first clutch CL 1; a motor/generator MG; a second clutch CL 2; right and left tires RT, LT, and reduces, when stopping the engine Eng, engine rotation speed while continuing fuel injection to the engine Eng while fastening the first clutch CL 1, and stops fuel injection to the engine Eng in a stage in which the engine speed N1 fell off to the predetermined rotation speed N2.
