<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gradation correction method for correcting gradation color skip caused by coating spot or coating residue of a fluorescent plate. <P>SOLUTION: The gradation correction method is for a projector having a light source unit including a first light source, the fluorescent plate with a phosphor layer that emits light by receiving light emitted from the first light source; a drive means for driving the fluorescent plate, and a second light source. The method comprises an index screen projection step; a gradation determination step in which gradation color skip in the index screen is determined; a second light source lighting set step in which the second light source is set so as to be lit on at the timing when coating spot or coating residue of the phosphor layer on the optical axis of the first light source are located; a lighting time set step in which the lighting time of the second light source is set; a gradation correction confirmation step in which the corrected state of the gradation of the index screen is confirmed; and a setting storage step in which light source control information set in the second light source lighting set step and lighting time set step are stored in a storage means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
