COATING DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF OPTICAL FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device capable of sending a coating fluid and applying coating in a state of dispersing particles without aggregation, and a manufacturing method of optical film using the coating device.

SOLUTION: A coating device provided in the invention that applies a coating fluid containing a binder resin and particles to a surface of substrate film includes: a first tank; a coater provided on the downstream side of the first tank; a fluid sending path for connecting the first tank to the coater; and a first sending pump provided in the fluid sending path for sending the coating fluid in a downstream direction from an upstream within the fluid sending path. The first tank includes a disperser for dispersing the particles into the binder resin. A manufacturing method of optical film using the coating device is also provided in the invention.
