<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated porous film which has, when used as a battery separator, a shutdown characteristic which is important from the viewpoint of securing safety, while maintaining an excellent permeation characteristic which contributes to electric performance, and is also excellent in pinprick strength. <P>SOLUTION: The laminated porous film has a structure in which an A layer composed of a porous layer including a polypropylene-base resin composition as a main component and a B layer composed of a porous layer including a polyethylene-based resin composition as a main component are alternately laminated.
