<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve electrical efficiency of a discharge lamp lighting circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A discharge lamp lighting circuit 100 comprises: a DC/DC converter CONV generating a driving voltage to be applied to a discharge lamp 4 of an object to be driven from a battery voltage Vbat; a first driving voltage generating path A having one end to which the battery voltage Vbat is applied and the other end which is a first output capacitor Co1 provided on an output side of the DC/DC converter CONV; a second driving voltage generating path B having one end to which the battery voltage Vbat is applied and the other end which is the first output capacitor Co1, and different from the first driving voltage generating path A; and a control circuit 10 performing on/off control of the first driving voltage generating path A. In the discharge lamp lighting circuit 100, the voltage of the first output capacitor Co1 when the first driving voltage generating path A is in an ON-state is set to be higher than that of the first output capacitor Co1 when the first driving voltage generating path A is not in an ON-state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
