<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the settlement of legs of tunnel timbering economically, simply and efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: Between a leg of steel timbering 1 installed along the inner peripheral surface of a tunnel and another leg of the steel timbering 1 installed at an interval in the tunnel axial direction, support members 4 are installed in brace shape. Concretely, the support members 4 are installed between reception members 3 welded to legs of the steel timbering 1 and the end portions of the support members 4 and the reception members 3 are welded for connection.
