<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope insertion aid having such a configuration that a plurality of elbow parts can easily pass through, without reducing insertability. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscope insertion aid includes a coil 2 configured so that an insertion part of an endoscope is freely inserted through the slender inside of the coil 2 in an insertion direction S, a rough winding part 2a located on the top end side of the coil 2, a dense winding part 2c located behind the rough winding part 2a in the coil 2, and an expanded diameter member 3 provided in the rough winding part 2a.
