<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device in such a structure that liquid does not easily shift to a wiring board mounted with an input mechanism when a beverage spills or the like and the liquid infiltrates inside a casing. <P>SOLUTION: The input mechanism 20 is fixed to the wiring board 11, and the terminal part of the input mechanism is connected to the wiring pattern of the wiring board 11. A protective member 30 is provided between the wiring board 11 and the casing, and the input mechanism 20 is positioned inside a hole 31 of the protective member 30. The protective member 30 includes a protective surface 33 facing the lower part of an operation body 28, wall surfaces 32a, 32b and 32c positioned on the outer periphery, a raised part 34 raised around the hole 31, and a liquid discharge part 35.
