<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack having good characteristics by preventing occurrence of poor appearance due to shrinkage of a resin molding while reducing the production cost appropriately by compaction or contraction of a circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: On the upper surface of the sealing plate 31 of a battery pack 1, a protective circuit board 20 having a short length in the Y direction is arranged, and a lead plate 24 is arranged to extend a flat plate part 240 from one end of the board 20 in the Y direction. In a state where the flat plate part 240 and the sealing plate 31 are separated from each other, the protective circuit board 20, the lead plate 24, and the like, are encapsulated in a resin molding 10.
