<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated paper for printing that satisfies ink-jet printability without impairing off-set printability, and more specifically, to provide a coated paper for printing suitable for an inkjet printing machine adopting a pigment ink without impairing off-set printability. <P>SOLUTION: The coated paper for printing is provided with a coated layer comprising a pigment and a binder as main components on at least one surface of a base paper. The coated layer contains calcium chloride and the calcium chloride is contained in the coated layer on at least one surface in an amount of 3 mmol or more and 60 mmol or less in terms of calcium ion per 1 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>of the coated paper for printing. As the pigment in the coated layer, calcium carbonate is contained in an amount of 50 pts.mass or more based on 100 pts.mass of the total pigments in the coated layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
