摘要 |
Osteoporosis is one of the ten most important diseases and is accompanied by symptoms ranging from reduction in bone density to fractures of the spinal column. Owing to the reduced strength of the bone, the strength of a bone anchorage and hence stabilizing using implants is made considerably more difficult. The present invention relates to an anchorage system which can preferably be implanted in order to stabilize the spinal column. To that end, the anchorage system comprises at least one mechanism with spreader elements which generate in particular axial pretension of the anchorage system within the body of a vertebra or within the pedicle. This pretension increases anchorage stability since, in contrast to the known pedicle screws, support is provided not in the peripheral direction but in the longitudinal direction against hard, cortical bone layers. |
