METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device is provided to form a common electrode cutting unit on an edge of a common electrode display plate, thereby preventing exposure of the common electrode to the outside. CONSTITUTION: A thin film transistor display plate has a fan-out region. The fan-out region connects a display area with a surrounding area. A common electrode(270) is formed on a substrate. A cutting unit(271) is formed by irradiating laser onto the common electrode. The substrate is cut to form a common electrode display plate(200). The thin film transistor display plate is bonded with the common electrode display plate.
