<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather fluctuation forecasting information service system and a weather fluctuation forecasting information service method for providing information for accurately forecasting weather fluctuation due to local weather turbulence through obtaining existence of the local weather turbulence. <P>SOLUTION: A weather fluctuation forecasting information service system 1 includes: at least three atmospheric pressure measurement devices 2 arranged in different locations in a specific local area; and a data processing device 4 that processes atmospheric pressure data measured by each of the atmospheric pressure measurement devices. The data processing device includes: an atmospheric pressure data acquisition unit 32 that continually obtains the atmospheric pressure data measured by each of the atmospheric pressure measurement devices; an atmospheric pressure gradient calculation unit 34 that calculates a two-dimensional atmospheric pressure gradient vector including atmospheric pressure gradients in two directions at a given position in the specific local area as a factor, based on the atmospheric pressure data obtained by the three atmospheric pressure measurement devices arranged in three different locations not on a straight line; and a weather fluctuation forecasting information generation unit 36 that generates information for forecasting given weather fluctuation based on the atmospheric pressure gradient vector in the specific local area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
