<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic flow meter that measures the corrosion degree of a detection electrode. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic flow meter imparts a magnetic field to fluid that flows through a measurement tube and measures the flow rate of the fluid based on a detection signal that generates on a detection electrode provided in the measurement tube. The electromagnetic flow meter includes an impedance calculation circuit that calculates complex impedance between the detection electrode and a reference electrode that imparts reference potential to the fluid, and corrosion diagnostic circuit that calculates an index value of corrosion current for the detection electrode based on the frequency characteristics of the complex impedance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
