<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously convey a plurality of battery modules by a hoist crane, and to adjust a pitch between the battery modules in a hanging type conveyor. <P>SOLUTION: A hanging type conveyor (10) includes a main frame (11) extending along the array direction of battery modules, rack-and-pinion mechanisms (12, 13) composed of a pinion and a pair of racks, a sub-frame (15) provided at each tip of the pair of racks, and an arm (14) provided at each end of the sub-frame.
