<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of an image reader in which when a document read by a reading part is not removed and a storage medium for writing image information input from the reading part is connected with the reading device, a user often forgets to take the document read by the reading part. <P>SOLUTION: When a placing part detection sensor 24 detects the presence of a document 19 and a connection detection part 95 detects connection of a USB memory 80 with a connection part 90, a CPU 103 makes a display part 15 display a message of "remove the document before removal of the USB memory, please" and makes a speaker 16 generate a warning sound to inform the user that the USB memory 80 is removed from the connection part 90, thereby recommending the user to remove the document 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
