<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply system enabling the sufficient sterilization and purification of water in a water flow passage even if the water in the water flow passage has a relatively high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The hot water supply system includes a water purification unit (60). The water purification unit (60) includes: a water purification flow passage (61) connected to the water flow passage; a pair of electrodes (64, 65) generating streamer discharge in the water in the water purification flow passage (61); and a DC power source (70) applying DC voltages to the pair of electrodes (64, 65). By the streamer discharge, hydrogen peroxide is produced in the water in the water purification flow passage (61). The hot water supply system further includes: a heating part heating water made to flow in to the water purification flow passage (61); and a control part controlling the heating part and the water purification unit (60) so that the water purification unit (60) starts the streamer discharge after the heating part starts an operation for heating the water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
