<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with both of high detection accuracy and prompt detection at a remote place in calculating relative distance or relative speed with an object regarding a pulse radar device. <P>SOLUTION: In a pulse radar device which includes: transmitting means for transmitting pulse-like radiowaves; receiving means for receiving reflected waves of the transmitted radiowaves by the transmitting means, and calculates relative distance or relative speed with an object based on relation between transmission of the radiowaves by the transmitting means and reception of the radiowaves by the receiving means, an existence range bin in which the object exists is detected among range bins obtained by dividing a detection range in which the relative distance or the relative speed with the object should be calculated into one or more regions, when the existence range bin is detected, a calculation required range bin in which the relative distance or the relative speed with the object should be calculated among all the range bins within the detection range is restricted to only one or more range bins in the surroundings including the existence range bin and one or more range bins existing at the end of the detection range afterward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
