<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor magnetic sensor with reduced influence of noise and little amplification distortion, and a magnetic material detection device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor magnetic sensor includes: a first semiconductor magnetic resistance element 11 and a second semiconductor magnetic resistance element 12, which are connected with each other in series; and a field effect transistor 10 having a gate electrode connected to a connection node of the first semiconductor magnetic resistance element 11 and the second semiconductor magnetic resistance element 12. A length when a width of the gate electrode of the field effect transistor 10 is projected on a linear line connecting respective center points of the first semiconductor magnetic resistance element 11 and the second semiconductor magnetic resistance element 12 is constituted to be a substantially even multiple of a linear distance between respective center points of the first semiconductor magnetic resistance element 11 and the second semiconductor magnetic resistance element 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
