<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that can successfully convey paper in a device that conveys paper by driving a plurality of rollers positioned in the upper and lower streams via individual motors. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 supplies paper P to a conveying roller side 17 from a paper supply tray 13 by rotating a paper supply roller 15 via a paper supply motor. Then, this paper is intermittently conveyed to an image forming position by driving the rotations of the conveying roller via a conveying motor. During the intermittent conveyance, the image forming apparatus drives rotations of the paper supply roller via the paper supply motor in accordance with the rotations of the conveying roller. Here, the image forming apparatus offsets the target position used for controlling the paper supply motor on the basis of the conveying motor manipulated variable. Concretely, when the manipulated variable exceeds the allowable upper limit value, it is presumed that the paper is tensed, so that the target position of the paper supply motor is offset to progress more than usual. On the other hand, when the manipulated variable is below the allowable lower limit value, it is presumed that the paper is bent, so that the progress degree of the target position of the paper supply motor is offset to be loose. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
