<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas recovery device for a frictional resistance reduced ship which enables more efficient collection of bubbles from cold water in which bubbles are mixed. <P>SOLUTION: The gas recovery device for frictional resistance reducing type ship includes a gas recovery chamber 51, and a partition plate 19. The gas recovery chamber 51 is prepared inside a hull. The partition plate 19 has a gas recovery opening 41a for taking in cold water containing gas which flows outside of the hull to the gas recovery chamber 51 and partitions inside and outside of the hull. The partition plate 19 is a bottom of the gas recovery chamber 51. The gas recovery opening 41a is the opening of outside of the gas flow passage 42 which communicates inside and outside of the hull.
