<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter or a receiver, capable of linking various types of information with a plurality of segment units prior to transmission and selecting the segment according to the link on the receiver side for demodulation. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of real time broadcasting, contents, meta data, access control common information and access control individual information are transmitted from a content transmitter by broadcast waves.
