[Problem] To provide a portable terminal device (1) with which it is possible to display a route to a destination in an easy to understand manner. [Solution] The portable terminal device (1) comprises: a display unit (13) wherein a background scene may be set to a see-through state which is capable of being seen through; a display control unit (100) which controls the display unit (13); a storage unit (101) which stores the destination; a location acquisition unit (100) which acquires the present location; and a comparison unit (100) which compares the destination with the present location. In accordance with the comparison result of the comparison unit, the display control unit (100) displays information denoting the destination on the display unit (13), and sets a display region in the display unit (13) other than the information that denotes the destination to the see-through state.
